Story Telling Mentorship 1 - Introducing myself, not as myself.

Firstly, I'll like to appreciate @michelle.gent for this opportunity and for offering the mentorship on how to tell a good story.

So this is me, writing about me as if I'm not me!

The brief: Write your introduction to the group. Who you are, what you've done, what you'd like to achieve from this - but write it as an observation, not as 'you' but as an observer.

I'd like to introduce Bright, also known as Brightex, a 23 year old ambitious lad from Imo state, Nigeria.

He is a medical student at the University of Nigeria, Enugu State, Nigeria. The start of his medical career came in just when he was still in secondary school. Having seen the passion in him, his class teacher, Mr Emeka adviced him to join the health club.

At that time, Bright had little or no knowledge of what medicine is all about, what he only knew then was that doctors help relieve pain and sickness by giving some injections. He developed the zeal to help, he could not help seeing people suffer in pains, he also wanted people around him happy and smiling, all these boosted his interest into the medical field more.

Meanwhile, before Bright's interest in medicine grew, he was very good at drawing too. He drew all kind of things, pictures, trees, houses, and even his teachers. He was also one of the best students in fine arts then. The passion to serve humanity and also the fact that he was doing really well in his science subjects then (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) just changed his focus to field of medicine.

At SSS3 (Senior Secondary Class 3 - the highest class in secondary school), he wrote his West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams and enrolled into a medical school after which he was called for interview. After a successful interview, he was offered admission and that was how his dreams of being a medical doctor started becoming a reality.

The next 5 years flew by, Bright has almost completed his studies and by now had also obtained a certificate in an online business school. Even though he is a medical student he doesn't want to put all eggs in one basket, he was continuously spreading his tentacles and that was how he eventually got to find out about steemit. After numerous findings and investigations about steemit, he registered and never regretted his action.

Currently in his penultimate year, the stress and hard work is almost paid off. Although he has sealed what some may call a fantastic and stable career, Bright still had room for more. His drawing talent won't just die like that. He is planning on rekindling that fire of fine art within him as it is not a bad idea if one is practicing medicine and still painting pictures during leisure times.

Through this mentorship program by @michelle.gent, Bright hopes to be a good story teller writing as much as he can. He also hopes to improve on his writing skills too.
