RE: STOP WITH THE INTRODUCTIONS! NO ONES CARES WHO YOU ARE!

in #stop8 years ago

Part of the issue is tagging. What we really need are sub-steems or just tags being used correctly. So, if you are a hot girl and you want to get money for being a hot girl, then use the tag "hotgirl" (or whatever makes sense) and do not use the tag "steem" or "steemit" or other tags that are not related to your hotgirlness. This will allow people to browse what they are interested in.

I agree with everything you've said. The issue is to be solved by enhancing the UI and tagging. Traderjeff shouldn't be forced to see any content he has not subscribed to have on his dashboard. Not everyone who uses Reddit wants to see the main Reddit either for many of the same reasons. At the same time the most popular content on Reddit deserves it's votes because it's the people who believed in Steem enough to buy Steem and convert it to Steem Power who have voting power.

If a person has enough Steem Power then it seems to produce compound interest so there might not be a reason to be a content producer forever. Acquiring Steem Power seems to be what the real inside game is. Maybe that is why 98% of Steem is locked up in Steem Power and it's not being dumped?

And the people who are willing to day trade Steem looking for quick profits will have the chance to do that but it will not negatively effect holders of Steem Power or Steem Dollars.
