To pay with your life for the "perfect" body

How far would you go in trying to achieve "perfect" physics? To cross the boundary between a generally accepted look and a vision that looks like a deviation from the norm of human anatomy?

Rich Piana tried to reach the limit of bodily perfectionism by transforming himself from a simple bodybuilder into a giant with monstrous proportions that few succeed.

The word "massive" is not strong enough to describe what this 185-inch and the 140-pound man looked like.

Unfortunately, Rich Piana died too young to be able to enjoy his appearance in the mirror. In August, Piana received a heart attack at home. In the incident, the athlete collapsed on the ground, hitting his head on the floor. For two weeks after the incident, Piana was kept in a medical coma at a hospital. He died without waking at age 45.

The Piana tried to overcome all the limits, even though he knew the dangers of taking the pills: anabolic steroids, growth hormones and anything else that could make the muscles look bigger. At the same time, he was training hard, eating nine times a day, and filming hundreds of videos for his followers on YouTube. In fact, steroid abuse has led to his death.

Though the former Mr. California had long since completed an active racing career in bodybuilding, he continued to take steroids. The news of his premature death came just days after the loss of yet another major heavyweight athlete, Dallas McCarver.

Tired of being tattooed, Rich Piana was filming a bodybuilding video with swearing sounds that attracted millions of followers to his YouTube channel and Instagram. His philosophy, "Everyday, ever-stronger, at all costs," was the regular dose of motivation for fitness fans. Besides, Pianna was a successful businessman selling food supplements.

Some of his advice was really inspirational, but others were extremely contradictory. In 2016, he admitted to using any chemistry that can help him become "the best I can do".

Piana admitted taking steroids for 30 years but recommended that his fans not follow his example.

"If you have a choice whether to take or to be clean - stay clean, there is no reason to get into the steroids, just damage your body," he said.

Those who have followed the Piana closely know that the situation has worsened long before the unfortunate accident that led to his death. His behavior became more and more uncontrollable. Over the past 2 years, Piana has been accused of striking a child with mental retardation. He also interfered in a fist fight with his former business partner during a Los Angeles fitness show. His marriage lasts about a year.

A few months before she died, Piana told her viewers that she was suffering from health problems. However, I did not stop taking steroids.

It was clear that sooner or later he would burn. Finally, his heart stopped.

Bodybuilding has changed dramatically over the past 25 years. The physics with which Arnold Schwarzenegger was eye-catching in the 1970s would today not have the chance to compete with modern massive monsters. Bodybuilders, especially the most advanced of them, would no longer be content with a 50 cm biceps or a 140 cm chest lap.

Deca Durabolin and Dianabol, which were the preferred doping of bodybuilders until the 1980s, have now been replaced by far more powerful drugs such as growth hormones, insulin, santol. So a new breed of champions was born.

Since Dorian Yates has set the standard for Mister Olympia 1992, it has been generally accepted that bodybuilders should be bigger and smoother than ever before.

Modern muscle mountains, however, do not have the aesthetics of bodybuilders from the past. Huge heavy bodies with protruding bellies are far from ideal for male physics. Unfortunately, the sport has become grotesque.

The International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness organizes competitions that will soon not reach the Olympic Games. Doping samples do not exist at the highest level in bodybuilding. The once-most prestigious "Olympia" competition was checked once for doping - in 1990. A quarter of the participants were disqualified.

The media, sponsors and the audience would not be interested in sports unless they offered the strangest show of the mutants. That's what they want, and they get it.

The Piana gave her life because of the degraded standards of bodybuilding and paid the bill too young.

ye problem with steroids many after 30-40 years have hearth attack , i saw 1 man died in gym , he was around 30 years old , so after that i never eat anything like protein i know its not steroids but still i want to be super clean lol.
And about perfect body im not sure that this monstrous bodies are perfect, in terms of beauty, or performance or by health seems they lack all :d

I put "perfect" in quotes because is not perfect for me. This is just example of what to not do with your body.
Protein is not that clean like eggs and other natural sources but is good if you want to get your daily dose fast.
