RE: How low can a satellite go to stay in orbit?
Interesting to find out that the space is so busy but is there a relationship between the distance attained and the time one can remain in space?

If you have the resources, you can virtually stay in space forever :)
The International space station (ISS) has been operational in space for 17 years, five months, two days. Vanguard 1, the first solar satellite, has been in space since 1958. It has stayed there for 60 years and counting.
