There is a clamor from some of the people to legalize marijuana within their respective countries and in fact some countries already legalized the use of it for medical and recreational purposes. But the aim for legalizing it really is to help people who are suffering from certain medical conditions like pain and appetite-loss.

The Bible Says

There is a verse in the bible that tells us to give string drinks to those that are in pain and ailing due to certain death or disease and we can read it in
Proverbs 31:6

"Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts."

I Have Pain And Appetite-loss Issues That Marijuana Can Help Me With

Scientific Evidence

Stories of cannabis’s abilities to alleviate seizures have been around for about 150 years but interest in medical marijuana has increased sharply in the last decade with the help of legalization campaigns. In particular, both patients and scientists have started to focus on the potential benefits of CBD, one of the main compounds in cannabis. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is responsible for its euphoric effects, CBD does not cause a “high” or pose the same type of risks that researchers have identified for THC, such as addiction and cognitive impairment. Rather, studies have shown that it can act as an anticonvulsant and may even have antipsychotic effects.

My View

I myself wants it to get legalized in my country because of the pain caused by my hyperparathyroidism which is caused by being a dialysis patient for 17 years now and it is hard to live with weak joints as the pain is unbearable and I have to use pain reliever more often now just for me to feel better.

I also have some appetite issues that I have to contend with and I know that maybe marijuana could potentially help me with that regards. So I am conforming with the push to legalize marijuana in my country just to help patients like me that is suffering from major illnesses that sometimes modern drugs could not help anymore.

The Risks

Of course the potential misuse and abuse could happen and it is a great ppossibility that other people who are not sick will be able to acquire such prescription to allow themselves use the marijuan without any reason other than to enjoy its psychoactive effects if not make a business out of it and could affect society especially the young people who are at risk of buying it from a dealer.

Also it may get to be a "gateway drug" which means that people who will abuse it will also turn to use other stronger and more dangerous illegal substances and as a result they could get victimized by their own actions in abusing marijuana in the first place.

My Conclusion

My conclusion is that Marijuana has uses and it is proven in some studies that it alleviates appetite-loss and nausea, it alleviates pain, and also it helps some people about their brain conditions like epilepsy and seizures so it is better to give people options to use it because some of the drugs cannot help some people and marijuana is a good option to take especially those that have a hopeless and peculiar medical cases.

But we have to just regulate it and the law enforcement comes into play with that issue and if they find any illegal thing that is happening like having some marijuana in possession without the required documents of course will be subject to further inquiry and prosecution if needed be.

Yrs it really is unfortantate that cannabis has been used as medicine for ages, but the past 100 years a big lie has been told that it is evil. I agree on everything you have touched on,except the "gatewaydrug", that too is part of the lie tgat has villianfied cannabis.
.btw where do you live?

I am from the #philippines @canna-curate
Weed is just highly stigmatized here so I just hope that #medicalmarijuana could get legalized for patients like me that needs a cure for our needs like pain relief/distraction and appetite boost.

I believe that marijuana should be legalized everywhere because it is true medicine and I really believe that it can be very helpful to you.
People abuse it and that is just sad, but you can't blame marijuana for it, because people abuse everything including prescribed or over the counter medicine etc. which actually is killing more people than you can ever imagine.

Yes @joalvarez it is a complicated matter to legalize it here in my country but I guess that the government could make a special law about it.

Define abuse..
What if I told you smoking it all day everyday at one point in my life, saved my life. Would you call that abuse?
You might not believe that, but it's actually not a what if. Cannabis saved my life, and I used it in a way that many would consider abuse. The definition of abuse has (in my opinion) been programmed into people to fit an official narrative. What you might call abuse, I might call healing. There isn't a one size fits all definition to this ma'am.
Re-think everything you've been taught, and I do mean everything. Reefer madness was a manipulative scam, employed by corporations, for various reasons, but primarily profit. Many people have died as a result of this manipulative greed scam.
I hope people start waking up to the predictive programming verbal diarrhea way of thinking that has been indoctrinated into them by the education system.
Good day, 100% weedcash vote :)

I like cannabis, and it's not a risk, even your government and the big banks are globally even more bigger risk.

Yes it is just up to the government here now if they would legalize it or not @foxkoit

The purpose of any government, is to uphold and govern the wishes of the people. Not decide if they will grant what the people want, in accordance to what best suits the government.
When a government has more power than the people it's intended to serve, it is no longer serving the people, but instead, it is serving its own interest. Not yours buddy.

The government (all government) has metastasized into a virus that must be eradicated.

It isn't doing you, or any of us any favors. It's holding humanity back. Plain and simple. We don't need it.

No..no it is not up to the government, this is what they want you think. This problem is up to us decide. Look if you can make 100 000 signature in that country, that all this signature users agrees that it needs to be taken fast to use, then things start move very quickly. But if you play game what government whant then you get just laws and regulations, which only make profits for the select ones. I'm sure every person can take responsibility for themselves not government.

Exactly, as outlined in what I just replied here as well. You get it.

Hope you get legalise it so you can get some for help.

I just hope so but at this moment it is highly illegal.

The way people abuse marijuana and it sometimes affects them in a crazy way is one reason why it is not yet legalized in my country.

Yes that is the problem as people will really just abuse it and then they make crimes.

you could have used the #weedcash tag and get some WEED on post payouts as well. Keep that in mind next time you post cannabis-related content @cryptopie!

Hope you're doing well friend.

Nice post.
The Bible quotation that you used, you lack the real understanding of that very passage.
Am sorry to say so.
