Hello friends, here I leave you my entry to the contest to make the logo of the stellar cryptomoneda, I was inspired by one of Victor Vasarely works of art
This is the image I took as the inspiration to create the logo.
Optical Art... Victor Vasarely
Optical Art. A pictorial movement born in the United States in 1958, Op-art is short for "Optical-Art".
An abstract artistic current, a derivation of geometric abstraction based on the pictorial composition of purely optical phenomena, sensations of movement on a two-dimensional surface, deceiving the human eye with optical illusions.
The repetition of simple forms is used. Colours create vibrant effects, great depth effect, confusion between background and foreground, and skilful use of light and shade.
The result is a three-dimensional space that moves. Even if the movement is not real, the effect is totally dynamic.
Vibrations, ups and downs, shapes that emerge and recede are felt in the retina.
Victor Vasarely was an artist who has often been considered the father of Op Art. He developed his own model of abstract geometric art, with optical effects of movement, ambiguity of forms and perspectives, and unstable images. He used different materials but using a minimum number of shapes and colors.
