Handmade Healthier Range Presents for Kids (and Adults too)
Hi all! Christmas has finally passed and New Year is just around the corner!
Finally there is some time for me to sit down for some writing!
I bet most of you are either still reminiscing the Christmas party, or partying on, giving belated presents to love ones that you don’t get to see during the festive season.
For me it has always been my annual “ritual” to present some tiny gifts to friends and colleagues, and most of the time I just choose chocolate with a candy cane and bless them.
This time, however, I did a little twist; trying out the box maker that I bought some time back, for something other than the regular chocolates.
This time, I made some of my presents healthier.
Mine you, in Malaysia eating healthy is not cheap, and to acquire most of these organic or natural snacks requires more expenses than a few chocolate bars.
But packing them with this box maker is pretty fun, wrapped up with Christmas themed baking paper and tested out transparent Vellum paper to see if it stands.
It turned out a lot flimsier and took me a while to pack them straight without squashing them out of shape; even moving them required some delicate care.
But when you wrap them up with this brilliant Christmas themed washi tape it makes those boxes look really special.
I made about 6 of them and I regretted that I should have made more. This time, I even blessed my bosses with it and they were delighted with the adorable design.
When I didn’t know how to really use it properly I would have thought I have wasted my money investing on this Gift Box Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers ; but once I got to get the hang of it, it was pretty neat and Maybe I might find more ways to hack it to make more box sizes besides its intended size.
For those who are interested in getting one, you can find it in Amazon or for Malaysians
