Sixth Band of ROCKNEO18!
What is going on Steemians!! How is everyone doing here? You must be wondering who will be the sixth band of Rockneo18 right? Before I introduce you that band let me remind you what is ROCKNEO all about. It is a concert that brings together some of the best rock bands here in Sabah, Malaysia. There is no doubt that Sabah is packed with highly potential of talents. These homegrown bands will inevitably rock the crowd with their various styles of rock from post grunge to indie rock music. Rockneo is also wanted to create awareness to local people that homegrown music is the same level to global.
The sixth band of ROCKNEO18 is none other than ME GUSTA!! . Me Gusta!! Is basically a Latin word meaning “I Like” You probably going to like this band immediately due to catchy disco riff and sing-along chorus! It’s not just disco music yet they’re also combining with psych, blues, pop and more to their creativeness in every song that they made.
Bringing alternative indie rock as their genre puts them into the highlighting indie bands here in Sabah. This four piece members started with Darryl(Guitar/Vocal), Azmi(Guitar/Backing Vocal), Eldon(Bass/Backing Vocal) and Vitalian(Drummer/Backing Vocal). Me Gusta!! Influenced many kinds of bands, the highlighted ones were The Beatles, Queen, The Doors, Queens Of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Foals, Muse and Two Door Cinema Club.
Me Gusta!! Always believe the power of lyrics, music arrangement and performance creativity. They will make sure that the music they make is worth watching and listening. Established since 2011 they have always put their faith in their own material. They have just released their self-title debut album called Me Gusta!! which consisted of 9 tracks altogether and they have just release their official audio called “The Wanderer”.
