Fifth Band of ROCKNEO18!
Yes! This is what have you been waiting for, the fifth band of ROCKNEO18 that will be held in Oceanus Waterfront Mall, Kota Kinabalu. The aim for this event is to create awareness of homegrown music. I think the locals here haven’t expose enough to their homegrown rock music. If they’re look deep into there’s plenty talented bands around here and this six bands are the example that music here in Sabah is already upgrading just like the technology itself. So let’s summon this band out!
The fifth band of ROCKNEO18 is spelt B.O.I.L which defines Beyond Our Imagination Lives. Cool isn’t it?! It’s been 20 years since these talented gents were making a plan to be one of the greatest bands around here. I’m sure most of you Seattle sound right? Yeah that is where they get their inspiration from. Seattle sounds such as Nirvana, Soundgarden and more were the biggest influence on making this band happened. The members are Bartholome(Vocal/Guitar), Eric(Bass/Backing Vocal) and Baba(Drums). They could make your eyes and ears explode with their heavy riffs and exploding drums!
BOIL had already performed in several big events and making their very first official video called ‘Dirty’ I was really enthusiastic with the song because it’s such a catchy and heavy song that made just want to headbang. That in your face type of performance will make you just shut up and enjoying that heavy music.
The first time I listen to this band, I was like damn! What a powerful voice the singer had, he could scream in front of a thousand crowds or more! I was lucky enough to see them live over and over again and I think you guys should do too! So get off your comfort seats and buy the tickets
