I kick off my shoes and dig my feet into the sand
And look at you
The sun beats down
browning our shoulders
aging our love
And skin
We grow older...
Here come the waves
crashing into our identities
personalities
insecurities
We grow wiser
Here on this beach
where water meets land
And ever changing boundaries are crossed
one day at a time
