Showing Steem USA some love in DC....
Sometimes we need to take dozens (sometimes hundreds) of images for that 1 perfect photo.
And when it comes to using a Pixelstick this is definitely the case! The key when using a Pixelstick is to shoot on a flat surface. Getting the Steem USA logo to look good was tricky because it's round. Once we got to a flat surface we nailed it...
And here's what it looked like when we were shooting on grass...
But trial and error is what makes photography fun because it's exhilarating when you finally nail the shot!

Good stuff! Thank goodness all the scaffolding is off the monument. That would have ruined the shot 😂
Yea - I remember it being there for years! But if you look at the statue at the very top there's still scaffolding but it's less annoying at night as it's less visible.
