I've read about this several times and never quite figured out what it is. I'm going to read the whitepaper you linked right now, but I have a more general question for something I've been thinking about.
Writer's groups are great ways to get feedback and support, but they can be very emotional situations without strong structure and leadership. Do you think a "Writers-trail" would be of any use in helping people find authors to trade critiques with, since critiques should be carefully written using specific methods, completely voluntary and 1:1 reciprocal?
I believe discussion between people with the same interest only increases knowledge of the collective which produces new ideas. We currently have a writers-trail that has been formed and would like for more writers to become a part of this growing community. Soon, you will have your own website where people can come and discuss writing specific topics and of course many others things. Its a community, so it is up to the people to form and shape the content that will be available. This goes beyond collaboration, maybe a writers marketplace forms. It's yours to decide.
