Vitamin C helps our immune system so that no bronchitis or any disease whatsoever that will start in our body will not propagate because we would build our resistance to most of it. I haven't had any issue with my lungs ever since except from my backbone squeezing my internal organs. Other than that no cough or colds for me @ejemai
Yes it does but many don't take it seriously. Good to know that your lungs are healthy and i am sure you will be fine my friend. Cheers, stay healthy and Steem on!

Cigarettes contain about 600 ingredients, many of which can also be found in cigars and hookahs. When these ingredients burn, they generate more than 7,000 chemicals, according to the American Lung Association. Many of those chemicals are poisonous and at least 69 of them are linked to cancer.
When you inhale smoke, you’re taking in substances that can damage your lungs. Over time, this damage leads to a variety of problems. Along with increased infections, people who smoke are at higher risk for chronic nonreversible lung conditions. Thanks @ejemai
7,000 Chemicals??? That alone will make one not think of picking up a stick. I just learnt something here and will be researching for future discuss.

Thank you, @ejemai. I do cough it up when necessary. I also believe that when you have a stomach ailment, you should rather get rid of the problem, and not take anything that stops the runny tummy. Thereby you get rid of the cause, rather than stopping it, so that it won't flare up again. Same with nauseousness. Let it all out!
I am currently suffering from sinusitus, and an ear that won't stop oozing stuff. I do not want to go and visit the doctor. Yes, I am stubborn. I believe it can be healed without a doctor's general antibiotics. Maybe I should see a doctor.
Eish! I smoke...I have seen my father dying of emphysema, and still I cannot quit. Maybe one of these days...
We are in the habit to eat strongly spiced food - lots of herbs AND spices. I am convinced it is the ultimate way to get rid of all kinds of illnesses.
Chicken soup, of course, is the ultimate comfort food when you feel unwell. I believe in its healing qualities, although I think that might be all in the mind. Drinking liquids, that is the way to go. I have all kinds of herbal teas, and I drink at least a liter of sparkling water every day. Most days I drink way more in the summer months. Come winter, maybe less, but then I drink more spiced teas.
Thank you for a great article. I am currently contemplating going to the doctor, but I am still hovering...

You R Welcome
Health awareness, let me quickly add that check up should be done periodically by all. More awareness is needed in this aspect, many people believe that you only need to visit the hospital when you're I'll, nothing could be more wrong than this. At least, we take care of our vehicles, service them else they get spoilt. Same thing applies to man, please I know you're strong, healthy but still get a doctor.
Prevention is better than CURE
Hospital visit should be done by everyone and encouraged as a matter of urgency. Prevention sure is better than cure no matter how expensive or well planned out.

After reading this now I am fully aware of this disease, happened to someone around me but was called something different (a native Yoruba name). Posts like this further shows why we shouldn’t stop reading up on health issues , knowing we live in a society where we don’t pay attention to our health and treat everything with negligence . Thank you for educating
