Former Inter Milan, AC Milan and Barcelona striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is set to depart English Premier League side, Manchester United to join Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy, following reports in the media. Zlatan Ibrahimovic a former Sweden striker joined Manchester United I 2016, from French side, PSG and scored 29 goals in 53 appearances for the Red Devils.

The 36-year old phenomenal striker agreed to have his contract which was to expire in the summer terminated earlier than expected. Ibrahimovic has managed just seven games since returning from a damaged interior- cruciate ligaments injury he suffered in April 2017.
According to the big Swede who wrote via Instagram, it was time for him to move on following two fantastic seasons with United. He further stated that “great things also come to an end”. He thanked the team, coach, club, staff, fans and everyone who shared in his time and history at Manchester United.

Manchester United in a statement announced that everyone at Old Trafford would like to appreciate Zlatan for his time and contribution to the team since he joined the side from PSG. The club wished him the best for the future.
United coach, Jose Mourinho, had suggested earlier this month that Zlatan was likely to depart the club at the end of the current season.
Zlatan had re-signed for the Red Devils in August 2017, on a one-year deal. He however, returned to the field in November 2017, following a knee injury he sustained that derailed his performance during his first season at Manchester United.

His last appearance for United came in the Premier League against Burnley on Boxing Day, last year. It has been reported as well, that Zlatan could be coming out of retirement to represent his country at Russia 2018 World Cup.

The time is come. He is getting older.

Yea, he is getting older, indeed. 36-years isn't a small age in football

Ibrahimovic nice football :)

Thank you very nice post and follow you.

Very good post.....

The best soccer player in the world

Best player

Wow this is a big edition for MLS. To get a guy like Ibrahimovic to come across the pond and be a part of MLS should provide the league with a nice boost. I know he has retired from international competition with Sweden, but he is still an elite player even at age 36. I'm excited to see what he can still accomplish here in the states.

Yea, I absolutely agree with you @thesportsguy. He'd add some colour to the MLS.
