The 11-0 Nigerian phenomenon stays full time in his now home country of Australia, and he will get a warrior's welcome this weekend. Israel will be fighting Rob Wilkinson, a formidable striker who has already made his debut in the UFC... and stylistically this one will be a banger.

Israel made his name big after losing his lone amateur fight.. he went on to win 11 straight with 11 finishes.. all by strikes. He has collected the heads of formidable gatekeepers in Melvin Guillard, and he has destroyed anyone foolish enough to stand with him for long periods of time.

Israel is as long as he is fast, and his deceptive reach allows him to hurt his opponents early and often. Adesanya calls himself the Style Bender, and in fact he is a genre and sports bender as well. He has tried his hand at professional kickboxing, and landed his first fight in the GLORY promotion.

Having a world renowned kickboxing organization request a mixed martial arts fighter is somewhat strange, but telling. Israel isn't your standard striker, he is absolutely special... and he deserves his long awaited arrival into the UFC. He will bring fireworks with him!

Many thought he was robbed in his kickboxing fight against Jason Wilnis, a fight that went three rounds and showed both men to be equally exhausted. The only difference was experience, and for Israel's first fight against an absolute veteran, he was supremely impressive.

I think this will be an explosive matchup as Rob Wilkinson knows what Adesanya brings to the table, and he will oblige the stand up. We will see two strong men throwing the most vicious of blows until the other man falls... and I believe the Style Bender will be left standing!
