The Rockies host the Cubs in another potential high scoring game

The Chicago Cubs and the Colorado Rockies are back in action tonight after combining for over 20 runs on Friday night. The first pitch is at 7:10pm and can be seen on Comcast Sports Chicago. The game will take place at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. The Cubs are favored at -128 and the over/under is 9.5. The weather should not be an issue and the think air should be good for the hitters.

The Colorado Rockies are 11-10 on the year and eager to get back on the diamond after a rough night. Usually when a team scores 5 runs in a game it will equate to a win, but not in Colorado. They will send Tyler Anderson to the mound to try and even the series. Anderson is 0-0 on the year and has an ERA of 4.74 with a WHIP of 1.58. The Rockies bats will need to try and get going early vs Cubs starter Yu Darvish who likes to settle in after the first inning.

The Chicago Cubs are feeling good after just an absolute butt whooping of the Rockies last night. Their bats warmed up and that Colorado air aided in their run explosion. Javier Baez was dynamite and went 4 for 6 with 4 RBI and a homer.

Yu Darvish will make his 4th start for the Cubs and is coming off a bad start last week against the Braves. His numbers are not good thus far and his ERA is 6.00. He will have his hands full with a talented Colorado Rockies offense.

Tonight should be another fun and high scoring game. Although both pitchers have the potential to pitch very well, I think the bats will get the better of them.
