The New Top 25 College Basketball Rankings Are Out

The new rankings are out for College Basketball and there was plenty of movement, except on top. Here are the full rankings as we pass the half way point of the season and before we know it, we will be getting ready for the madness of March:
The Villanova Wildcats hold on to the #1 spot after a great couple of weeks of the season. They have won 5 straight games after suffering their only loss at Butler on December 30th. They are back in action tonight as they host the Providence Fryers. Jalen Brunson and Makil Bridges are one of the best combos in the country and have their eye on the prize.

The Virginia Cavaliers hold on to the #2 spot after a week that their defense did not allow an opponent to reach the 50 point mark. Head coach Tony Bennett has the best defense in the country and has led the team to 10 straight wins. Kyle Guy is their leading scorer at 15.3 points per game and Devon Hall is second with 12.6. They are hosting a good Clemson Tiger team tonight who is ranked 18th.
The most impressive movement on the Top 25 list was for the Kansas Jayhawks getting back to the Top 5. They had been struggling but have ripped off 5 straight wins. They will have one of their hardest tests of the year tonight though when they play at the 12th ranked Oklahoma Sooners. Senior point guard Devonte Graham will have to have a monster game to get the W on the road tonight.
There is still a lot of time for teams to rise up the chart as we get ready for March Madness. It is a wide open race and so many talented teams this year that it will be hard to predict the Final 4. Thank you for following @steemsports and you can follow me @scottybuckets
Perdue's senior class brings a lot experience and depth for that team!! I picked them as a top five team at the beginning of the season. I still think Duke is the Deepest- Strong talented Freshman + experienced seniors coming off the bench = deep madness run. Gotta love Nova as well but my biggest concern is "strength of schedule"
Purdue has 2 good 7 footers and can definitely win it all. I've watched them play a lot this year. They will be a dangerous team in March!!
