The Chicago Bears vs New England Patriots

The game of the day in the NFL is taking place in Chicago today when the New England Patriots face off against the Chicago Bears. Kickoff is set for 12pm Central Standard Time and the game can be seen on National Television on CBS. It will take place at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. The Patriots are slight favorites at -2 and the over/under is 49 points. It is going to be a cold and breezy day today so that might affect the passing game.
Both teams enter today feeling pretty good about how their season has been going. But the Chicago Bears let one get away from them last week and blew a shot for a road win. The Bears were up by 8 points late in the game against the Miami Dolphins and they were in the red zone when Mitch Trubisky threw into triple coverage and the Dolphins picked off the ball in the end zone. Miami would march down the field, tie the game, and force overtime.
Things got even worse in OT for the Bears. They missed a field goal that would have won the game. Miami got the ball back and the Bears defense was worn out and the Dolphins kicked an easy field goal to earn the comeback win.
The New England Patriots are coming off of the most exciting game of the year in the NFL. They played the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football and boy was it fun to watch. The teams battled back and forth all night and put up huge numbers.
The Chiefs would fall to the Patriots on a last minute field goal 43-40. The fans in New England celebrated and rushed onto the field. Tom Brady proved once again that he is still the GOAT.
But today the Patriots will face one of the best defenses in the NFL. The Bears traded for Khalil Mack earlier this season and he has made the world of difference. He will be head hunting for Tom Brady all afternoon.
The point spread opened up in this game at the Patriots -3.5. But almost immediately on Tuesday it dropped to -3. There is some heavy money on the Bears in Las Vegas so it should be one hell of a game.
