I was still a little uncertain about LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball coming to Lithuania in January, but I think it is happening. I guess Lithuanians will be able to hear LaVar Ball saying something stupid about his boys being better than Sarunas Jasikevicius. Or he will just say that he could beat Arvydas Sabonis 1 on 1. Yes, I do not doubt that LaVar will destroy his reputation in Lithuania pretty soon, but let's talk about serious business now.
It was reported that Prienai Vytautas has already sent the first batch of 500 jerseys to Amazon and those jerseys will hit the market in early January. So, everyone who wants to jump on the Prienai Vytautas bandwagon should start refreshing Amazon starting from next week.
LaMelo has taken number 1 jersey, and LiAngelo will be playing as number 3. As for now, Ball brothers are expected to come to Lithuania on January 3 and play their first game on January 9 against Minsk "Cmoki" in the Baltic Basketball League. Of course, if they will be good enough to step on the court. I am joking of course. Ball brothers probably have a clause in their contracts that guarantee at least some minutes in every game. Also, even Virginijus Seskus cannot be stupid enough not to satisfy his newly born fans, who will come to watch Ball brothers. Let's be honest - most of the people in Lithuania don't give a shit about Prienai Vytautas team, but a lot of people will want to see how Ball brother, the basketball Kardashians, look like in real life. To be honest, I am pretty certain that I will go to one of the games as well, so keep following us to get more inside information about Ball brothers.
But for today, all we can do is wait for LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball to come to Lithuania. Also, we can purchase their jersey. Lithuania is not a bad stop while working for NBA career, but let's be honest, you need to have a lot of talent to play in NBA and LiAngelo doesn't convince me just yet.
Gelo just wasn't going to transfer to another school like Joshua Shirley, Paul Richardson and Shaquille Richardson (Also got no punishment) because he had no intent on going to UCLA for school purposes. I applaud the Balls for going their own way and now UCLA can give that scholarship to someone who actually needs it rather than someone prepping for the league. At least we will know if the Balls can really sink or swim!
