NFL Game of the Day Preview: New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers

The game of the day in the NFL is about to start and it should be a great one! The 10-3 New England Patriots play at the 11-2 Pittsburgh Steelers. This could be a potential preview of the AFC Championship game that will take place in January. The game kicks off at 3:25pm Central Standard Time and can be seen on National Television on CBS. The Patriots are favored by 2.5 points and the over/under is 53. There is rain and snow in the forecast.
The Patriots are coming off of an awful performance in Miami. The Dolphins dominated them in every aspect of the game. The defense really struggled to slow down Jay Cutler and they may have a tough day today against Big Ben. Tom Brady had one of his worst games ever but rarely does he play bad in back to back games. The Patriots have the number 1 Offense and Passing Offense in the NFL. Brady is averaging just under 300 passing yards per game and has thrown 27 touchdowns and 6 interceptions on the year.
Ben Roethlisberger has the Steelers offense playing great. He is coming off of a MONSTER game last week where he threw for over 500 yards. Antonio Brown continues to be the best receiver in the NFL and LeVeon Bell continues to be the best running back. How will Patriots head coach Bill Belichick adjust his defense to slow this trio of talent down?
Las Vegas has this spread surprisingly in the favor of the visiting Patriots. It is unusual for an 11-2 Home Team to be underdogs but the pros don’t think that Tom Brady will lose two games in a row. With the over/under so high, it is expected to be a shootout. Both teams are good enough to win the Super Bowl and todays result will go a long way in who has the home field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.

Real question the NFL needs to figure out is what and who determines what is a catch or not. 3-5 years ago that’s a catch. The rules need to be adjusted. The NFL is hurting and situations like this do not help
I cannot believe the sequence of events that unfolded last night. Brady is now 12-2 against the Steelers in his career.
Things I learned last night:
Brady is God.
Gronkowski is the most game changing player in the league. (Other than QBs)
Tomlin again proves to be lacking in his play calls/game management.
Patriots are still the best team in the AFC.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are playing rally well, but the new England Patriots should be motivated after getting embarrassed by the Miami dolphins on Monday night football.
It should be a good game. I don't like either team, but in this case, I'll root for the Steelers.
Should be a good game. I think Pats will win. They have a really good win record after a loss.
