The NBA is almost back! We only have to wait 5 more days for the preseason to start and there will be plenty to look for. Today was the NBA Media Day. Unfortunately most of the questions were about the NFL protests and how the players, coaches and owners will react themselves when the National Anthem is sung on opening night. But enough of that already. Let's take a look at the 3 biggest offseason moves and how they will affect the season!

Kyrie Irving - Boston Celtics:
Lebron made a bed that he is about to sleep in, and have NIGHTMARES! The Boston Celtics are loaded and will be the best team in the Eastern Conference for the next 10 years, regardless of where King James is playing. They are full of quality draft picks and have some phenomenal talent. Kyrie Irving is a top 10 player and still hasn't hit his prime. He is ready to be THE MAN and I can't wait to see the Celtics play the Cavs on Tuesday October 17th in Cleveland!

Paul George/Carmelo Anthony - Oklahoma City Thunder:
The Thunder have had one hell of an offseason. They made a huge deal by adding Paul George this summer. That alone made Russell Westbrook and George one of the best duos in the NBA. But then they pulled off a blockbuster trade with the New York Knicks to add Carmelo Anthony. They now have their very own “Big 3.” I'm not sure who is going to play defense or take the last shot, but this should give Golden State some pause if they think they are coasting to the NBA Finals.

Chris Paul - Houston Rockets:
This one is the wild card of the offseason. Chris Paul is considered one of the best point guards in the NBA and justifiably so. But he is yet to win anything. Similarly, teammate James Harden is one of the best players in the league but has little to show for it. Is Chris Paul the missing piece? We will find out soon.
Does all of this movement make Lebron think twice about his reported desire to join the young Lakers next season? What do you think about all of these moves and who can best challenge the Golden State Warriors? Thank you for following @steemsports and you can catch me @scottybuckets Cheers!

I would add Hayward to the Celts move with Kyrie. Both were huge additions.

West is stacked, but I still take GSW over all of them. Too many ball-hogs in OKC to work as one unit IMO. Rockets will be fun to watch. You missed one though...Jimmy Buckets to the Wolves! Him, KAT, Wiggins, Taj, Jamal Crawford and Teague with Thibs at the helm will be awesome. Won't be a fun team to play against.

very nice post thanks man

Thx for my fantasy team!!!

I think there are 4 big moves - Jimmy Butler going to the Wolves will be huge for that team - they already have a young dynamic team that will benefit from the addition of Butler - playoff bound i say

Looking forward to the new season.I'll love Carmelo to win the champ but i still think Steph,Durant and company would go all the way.
