NBA Preview: Los Angeles Clippers At Cleveland Cavs

The Cleveland Cavs have finally gotten back over the .500 mark on the season. Lebron James and company are enjoying a 3 game winning streak that they hope to continue when they host the struggling Los Angeles Clippers tonight.
The game tips off at 6:30pm Central Standard Time and can been seen locally on Fox Sports Ohio or nationally with the NBA League Pass on Direct TV. The Cavs are favored by 6.5 point and the over/under sits at 223.
The Clippers got off to a hot start this season by going 4-0. Patrick Beverley was playing great as Chris Paul’s replacement and the team looked confident. But since then they have suffered from several injuries and are in the middle of a 6 game losing streak. It will be up to Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan to carry the load for the shorthanded Clippers tonight.
But Lebron James has only lost once at home to the Clippers in his career. The Cavs still have the worst defense in the league, statistically, but it has been better the last 3 games, all wins. Cleveland is also suffering from some injuries and Lebron is playing a lot of minutes. Although he is in phenomenal shape, the 82 game season is a grind and couch Ty Lue wants to get Lebron’s minutes down as soon as possible.
