Real Madrid has a strong midfield and is very productive in scoring goals this season. In fact, to prove my point, five of the eight midfielders in the squad have contributed over 50 percent of all Real Madrid goals. The five midfielders are Marco Asensio, Isco, Casemiro, Dani Ceballos and Toni Kroos.

The crucial second-line role of Real Madrid is clearly seen in their last two games in La Liga. Alaves and Espanyol surely tasted a bit of that medicine.

In the 6th Jornada, Madrid plays at home to Alaves and win 2-1. Madrid's two goals were boosted by Ceballos, while Asensio contributed one assist. On the next Jornada, Madrid host Espanyol at the Santiago Bernabeu and win 2-0. Isco scored twice, while Asensio again contributed an assist.

Previously, Isco also scored a goal against Manchester United in the European Super Cup. This season Isco contributed a total of three goals for his team.

Madrid's most prolific midfielder so far is Asensio. He has scored four goals: two goals in the league and two other goals in the Supercopa de Espana.

Cristiano Ronaldo contributing five goals

Madrid has played 12 official matches this season. In 12 games, Madrid scored a total of 26 goals. Of the 26 goals, 24 goals were scored by their players, while the other two goals were scored on their behalf by their opponents.

Out of a total of 24 goals scored Madrid players, the midfield row contributed half. Of the eight midfielders, only Luka Modrić, Marcos Llorente, and Mateo Kovačić haven't scored this season.

The temporary Madrid midfielder is even more productive than his offensive players. The Real Madrid forwards contributed just 11 goals. Cristiano Ronaldo five goals, Gareth Bale three goals, Lucas Vazquez, Borja Mayoral and Karim Benzema each one goal.

Sergio Ramos scored one goal against APOEL in the Champions League.

Woww...great

I think this is pretty normal nowadays. You see the same thing at City and Liverpool. You want a team to be like that, and not rely on just one man as Tottenham do with Kane. Barcelona and Messi. I much rather prefer a team where the midfielders score a great deal of goals as well.

Real Madrid have someof the best mids. BARCELONA have pretty decent ones like iniesta and busquets and rakatic and even the new guy paulinho. Even tho barca are my favourite team, i still think Madrid have the best mids right now
