Turkey vs Croatia (1-0) - Turkey revives chance of making to World Cup

Goal from Cenk Tosun at the 75th minute earned Turkey a 1-0 win over Croatia on Tuesday to revive prospects of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup. This dealt a blow to the group leaders with two games left to play. Single goal from Cenk Tosun in Yeni Eskişehir Stadyumu opened the chance for the host. Turkey is ranked third in the standings, with a collection of 14 points; two points below Croatia and Iceland.

The hottest competition in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers European zone is indeed located in Group I. Croatia and Ukraine are initially in good position, fallen. Ukraine sank Iceland with two goals. Leaders Klasemen while Croatia was defused by Turkey who was led back by their number 10, Arda Turan.

Turkey until the eighth match holds 14 points, equal to Ukraine; but has a more slick head to head record. Therefore, the match in October becomes the key to determining which teams qualify.

First Half
