Morata's Header Leads the Way

Premier League defending champions Chelsea managed to secure full points over the Premier League champions 2015/16, Leicester City with a score of 2-1. Goals from Alvaro Morata and N'Golo Kante could only be repaid once through Jamie Vardy's penalty.
These results make the Blues while having nine points result from four games, while The Foxes stuck in the bottom because only packed three points from four matches.
The first half went pretty tough for both teams. Chelsea did more control of the ball, but could not penetrate the strength of duets Wes Morgan and Harry Maguire.
On the other hand, Leicester is also difficult to counterattack. Chelsea's midfield and defense were disciplined enough which left Jamie Vardy and Islam Slimani little chances on controlling the ball.

Davide Zappacosta who was signed to replace Victor Moses almost scored in his debut match with Chelsea in the 80th minute. He fired a horizontal shot that was saved on the sideways by goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
