UFC 216's Main Event Brings Us the Lightweight Interim Championship
Kevin 'The Motown Phenom' Lee:
"My man!" Lee is the young gun hybrid type fighter whom possesses devastating power in his kicks, and one of the best all around wrestling skill sets in the UFC. His combination of kickboxing technique and tenacity in the pocket makes him deadly both at range and it the clinch. A hard fought debut and close decision loss to Al Iaquinta in Lee's debut made people realize this kid may be the real, and 9 wins later he is fighting for his first title. His domination over prospects like Jake Matthews, and veterans like Michel Prazeres show that black belt or not, Lee can still dominate on the ground. Motown's 'mata leon', the lion killer rear naked choke is one of the best in the sport, and definitely the best in the lightweight division. Once this man gets the back, the end is nigh.
Tony 'El Cucuy' Ferguson:
'El Cucuy', the Boogeyman: a moniker that suits Ferguson a lot better than people may know. Fighting this man is an absolute nightmare, and the longer one stays upright against him...the more they will bleed. Sharp elbows and knees from all angles create a chaotic blend of feints and damage, Tony sticks to no particular style, he is a freestyle fighter who lives in a 'flow state'. He is mentally the toughest guy in the division, and his cardiovascular is unmatched. His training style at elevation in Big Bear has allowed him to create the best ways to train and recover for his style; he is a true savage and unafraid to fight anybody willing to challenge. Tony is a very exciting fighter as he is a forward walking pressure fighter, expect carnage with this man in the cage.
Breakdown and Matchup:
This is one hell of a fight to say the least. Kevin Lee is a young man with setbacks in the form of a knockout loss people just can't seem to forget. He got caught by not the biggest of punchers in Leonardo Santos, and this stigma has plagued him ever since. The doubt shrouds Lee as he steps into the spotlight for his first five round main event. This is the biggest fight of his life, and Tony Ferguson is absolutely the toughest test in the division. The last opponent of each of these men, and the streak they each hold to their record shows that these are the two top contenders fighting for a belt. We rarely see such top notch matchmaking, and we rarely see such a disregard for a hungry, and dangerous young man. Experience is one hell of a notch on the belt, but youth trumps all!

I believe that ferguson will keep distance and win on decision, but is fight and anything can happen anytime, a punch can change the entire course of events :)
Wow, I'm surprised you think Kevin Lee will win, I hope you're right but I don't see him having much of a chance.
