The Big Three League founded by Ice Cube is veering into the latter half of its season this Friday evening in Toronto. Games of 3-on-3 will take place between former NBA ballers in Week 6 out of 8 in total. Since we are coming up on playoff time, now is the time for the superior teams to rise to the top, while bottom dwellers continue their descent into irrelevance.
We've got some good games lined up this week between squads who are looking at grabbing a win to solidify their positioning. However, if a team isn't in range to contend in the playoffs, they're looking to win one for the sake of pride and to upset the competition. Games can be viewed on Fox Sports One at 7 PM EST.

For our first match of the night, we have the #1 seeded 3 Headed Monsters going against the #7 Ball Hogs. 3 Headed comes into this face-off with a perfect 5-0 record and another exciting last-second win to preserve their dominance. Jamario Moon hit a buzzer beater 4-point shot to ice the game. They're the clear-cut favorite of this match, but I think they could be vulnerable to let their guard down to the 1-4 Ghost Ballers. For the sake of our entertainment, I hope the Ghosts put up a fight against the top squad.
Our second contest of the eve pits two almost evenly-ranked squads against one another. #5 Killer Three's will take the floor against #3 ranked Power in a game where both squads will be jockeying for playoff positioning. A win or loss could put them in or out of the picture, but they'll still have two more weeks to go before the postseason starts. Power have been led this year by the stellar play of Cory Magette, so look for him to muscle up around the basket once again. Killer Three's have a ton of weapons such as Metta World Peace, Stephen Jackson, and Kenny Anderson. Both teams got wins last week, but I think Power are going to build off their momentum and take this one.

The third contest of the evening will feature 3's Company and Tri-State. Tri-State are coming off a solid win against the lowly Ghost Ballers, while 3's Company are coming off their heartbreaking loss to 3 Headed Monsters. 3's company didn't have Baron Davis in that game, and things may have turned out differently if he laced them up. No word on whether he'll sit out for them again, so I think he should be good to go. Tri-State are such a potent squad though with the likes of Nate Robinson and Amare Stoudemire, I think they'll come away with the W.
For our final match of the night, we will see Trilogy and Ghost Ballers duke it out. Trilogy are the ones with more at stake in this clash of low-seeded squads (#6 Trilogy vs. #8 Ghost Ballers). A win will give them a sliver of hope in sneaking into the playoff picture. Ghost Ballers will be looking to gain their first win of the season, and it couldn't have come against a better, similarly ranked opponent. Make sure to tune in on Friday night to catch the action!

I am really happy to see all the evolution of this tournament.
There were some evolution last week.
On the other hand some teams are not so good and they are bad to fight against the other team.

Yea there are some stinkers for matchups. But it seems like there are always 1 or 2 great games so I'm excited to see how it unfolds!

The Big 3 League has put on some rather interesting games for what they are. I’m looking forward to seeing just how things shake out in the next couple weeks as we are edging closer to the first year of playoffs.

Yea same! I feel like the games kind of drag on in the first half and the beginning of the second, but once it gets to near that 50 point mark it becomes really exciting! The different format they have to win a game sure is interesting.
