The side that was by far the best team in Europe has had a comparatively quiet transfer window for the new season. Real Madrid dominated world football by winning the La Liga as well as the Champions League and Zinedine Zidane has retained almost all players of the wining campaign.

Despite the usual transfer rumours linking loads of players to the La Liga giants, there were more high profile exits from the club than there were entrants. The usual David De Gea and Eden Hazard links were trumped though this time around. Young sensation, Kylian Mbappe was thought to be moving to Real Madrid but Paris St. Germain snapped up the teenager. Nevertheless, Madrid look formidable as ever even now with the new youngsters Zidane has brought in.

The Arrivals

Real were successful in tempting 19 year old left back Theo Hernandez to make the switch from arch rivals and neighbors, Atletico Madrid to join them. Hernandez was purchased for £27 million in what is considered as good business in this inflated market.

Apart from Hernandez, Zidane only brought in Dani Ceballos from Real Betis to diversify his options in the central midfield after losing out on a midfield general of his own this summer. The Spanish man cost Real just £14.85 million and with age on his side, Ceballos is expected to make it big at Real in the near future.

The Exits

Madrid sold off their fringe striker, Alvaro Morata to Chelsea for £55.8 million after the Spanish striker wanted more playing time ahead of the World Cup season. Real also parted ways with second choice right back, Danilo who made the switch to another Premier League side in Manchester City. The Brazilian was snapped up by the club for £27 million.

But one of the biggest transfer sagas of this window culminated with Colombian star, James Rodríguez moving to Bayern Munich on a season long loan deal. The German club managed to strike a deal with the La Liga giants for a loan fee of £11.7 million and the option of a permanent deal after the season ends. Real have also lost Pepe and Fabio Coentrao to Besiktas and Sporting CP for a free transfer and a loan deal respectively.

Those lineups are at least subjective, the module exposed it's not Zidane's favourite.. at least half the matches last season they played with 2 upfront.

Theo Hernandez and Asensio are challengers for the left flank, while I can't wait to see Ceballos at work in the middle of the park, Zizou will certainly use these players , his squad rotation mechanics are impressive..

Casemiro is a fundamental player in the importants matches

Followed Real Madrid since I was 5 years old.! 👍

I was born with White heart!! Hahaha

Força Barca!!! 😎

To me, Zidane should not release this top star for El Real is always strong, they are Ramos, Marcelo, Toni Kroos, Isco, Ronaldo and Gareth Bale. Otherwise it does not sound very much
