College Football Top 25 Match Ups Tonight

It is going to be a DYNAMITE night for College Football this evening. There are 4 games that match Top 25 teams against each other that will have National Championship implications. Let's get started with the biggest game of the night!

#5 Oklahoma Sooners at #2 Ohio State Buckeyes:

The game takes place at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. It kicks off at 7:30pm Eastern Standard Time. It can be seen on National Television on ABC. The Ohio State Buckeyes are favored by 7 points and the over/under is 63.5.

These teams faced off last year in Oklahoma. The Buckeyes won 45-24 in a convincing win. Tonight though, the Sooners have revenge on their mind. Each team has a potential Heisman Trophy winning quarterback, but this game will be won in the trenches. The Sooners have one of the best offensive lines in the country and they will face off against one of the best defensive lines in the country. JT Barrett and Ohio State will move the ball and put up plenty of points, but can Baker Mayfield and the Oklahoma offense keep up? I say yes.

Auburn Tigers at Clemson Tigers:

The game takes place at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina. It kicks off at 7pm Eastern Standard Time. It can be seen on National Television on ESPN. The Clemson Tigers are favored by 4.5 points and the over/under is 56.

The National Champion Clemson Tigers have won the last 3 games in this matchup, including a 19-13 win last season. Kelly Bryant jumped in at quarterback last week replacing Desean Watson who is now a Houston Texan. He threw a touchdown and also ran one in against Kent State. This will be a much tougher game and the Clemson defense will have its hands full against one of the best running offenses in the country. Auburn running backs, Johnson and Martin, both ran for 136 yards and a touchdown last weekend. They will get fed the ball a ton tonight.

Georgia Bulldogs at Notre Dame Fighting Irish:

This game takes place at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana. It kicks off at 7:30pm Eastern Standard Time. It can be seen on National Television on NBC. Notre Dame is favored by 4 points and the over/under us 58.

These teams have never played each other in the regular season. Georgia’s starting quarterback was injured last week and they are starting a True Freshman, Jake Fromm, in what appears to be an impossible task. But the Bulldogs have 2 fantastic running backs in Chubb and Michel. Will they be able to carry the load against a loaded box defense? Can Notre Dame get Wimbush going on offense to open up the game? There should be plenty of big plays tonight.

Stanford Cardinal at USC Trojans:

This game takes place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. It kicks off at 8:30pm Eastern Standard Time. It can be seen on National Television on FOX. The USC Trojans are favored by 6 points and the over/under is 55.

The Stanford Cardinals have dominated this series and have won the last 3 matchups in a row. They defeated the Trojans 27-10 last year. But that was before USC ripped off 9 wins in a row to close the season. Sam Darnold, USC quarterback, has gotten all of the hype so far this year. But the Trojans had a hard time putting away Western Michigan last week. Stanford on the other hand, put a beat down on Rice, winning 62-7. Anytime I can get Stanford more than +3, it's an easy choice.
