Following a disappointing outing in mid-week against Arsenal, which saw them lose the semi-final second leg clash of the Carabao Cup to their London-rivals, Chelsea bounced back to claim a convincing victory against Newcastle in the fourth-round of the English FA CUP, over the weekend.
With speculations about his future still going around, Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi was the star on the day, as his two shots and two goals, helped Chelsea to a 3 – 0 victory over former blues manager Rafa Benitez and his Newcastle side.

A sterling performance by the young Belgian, made Chelsea manager Antonio Conte describe Michy Batshuayi as a "young player with great potential”, despite having hinted that the striker who has struggled for first team position would be sent out on loan in the current January transfer window.
The first half of the match saw Chelsea struggle to assert themselves on a Newcastle side still struggling to impress in the league this season.

Batshuayi opened scoring for the 2017 finalists by rounding-off a stellar Chelsea move after they had struggled to with a slow start. The 24-year old Belgian then finished off another brilliant break by Chelsea just before half-time. Batshuayi’s double came in the first half of a game that saw Newcastle threaten the current Premier League Champions in the opening 30 minutes with decent chances.

Newcastle midfielder, Jonjo Shelvey tested Chelsea Goalkeeper Willy Caballero on three different occasions with shots which that blues goalie dealt with comfortably. The third goal for Chelsea came from the boots of Marcos Alonso in the second half. Alonso’s sensational free-kicks for Chelsea have become a beauty to behold each time the Spaniard strikes.

Alonso's free-kick, has taken the Chelsea defender to seven goals this season, a career-best. Thank you for following @steemsports and you can find me @rickie

Apparently this was just a temporary relief , just a couple of days later, they let go of batshayi and got beat soundly by a minnow Bournemouth team

Hard to pick out what has been Chelsea's problem this season , the team is in shambles , almost every one on the team is under performing .

I have not been a football fan, but i think i like some clauses and phrases in your lines.
