All-star backcourters, Wall and Beal, once again, played outstanding basketball as the Washington Wizards beat the Toronto Raptors, 106-98 on Sunday night to even the series at 2-2. Wall took over when Bradley Beal fouled out of the game, scoring 10 of Washington’s last 14 points and finishing the game with a total of 27 points, 6 rebounds, 14 assists and 4 steals. Bradley Beal had himself a spectacular night with 31 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Beal made five three-pointers. Otto Porter Jr. shot 0 of 4 with only 1 point in the first half, but scored 8 points in the opening minutes of the third quarter including 2 triples helping the Wizards eliminate a 14-point deficit. Center Marcin Gortat finished the game with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist while Kelly Oubre Jr. had 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
Washington made 5 of their 6 attempts from the three point line in the third quarter and matched their first half output by scoring 40 points in the quarter, and ended it tied at 80. Wizards won their eighth straight playoff home game. Wall entered game 4 averaging 26.7 points and 12.7 assists in the series.

DeMar DeRozan started the game shooting 0 for 6 but ended up finishing the game with 35 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds and 1 steal. Kyle Lowry added 19 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. Meanwhile, Jonas Valanciunas had 11 points, 3 rebounds and 1 block while Serge Ibaka had 7 points, 10 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Jacob Poeltl played well off the bench with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Raptors were 0-4 all time in game fours when up 2-1. They never led 3-1 in a playoff series. Fred VanFleet sat out again due to an injured right shoulder. Toronto led by as many as 12 points in the second quarter and were up 51-40 at the half. DeRozan had 15 points in the first half and Washington shot only 34 percent in the half, including 1 for 7 from long distance. Washington got their first lead in the third at 66-65 from a three-pointer by Porter. Toronto scored the first eight points of the fourth period but Washington immediately answered, and the game was close the rest of the way. Game 5 will be on Wednesday in Toronto.

I’m still picking cavs, but I wish I picked Philly for east! I won’t sell out and switch now but philly looks tight! If cavs don’t go to finals it’s def going to be philly

Great game recap btw! Haha I realize I didn’t say anything about the actual game this post discussed but I just watched philly knock out heat and wow that looked great!

Thanks for the information it really helped me to visualize the game. I would love to see the Wizards move on into the next round.
