Are Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavs in trouble?

The NBA season is entering its third week. The Cleveland Cavs sit at 3-4 on the season and have not looked like the team that won the NBA Championship 2 years ago and reached the Finals last year, before losing to the Golden State Warriors. The Cavs have lost 3 games in a row including embarrassing losses to the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Knicks.
Lebron James got everything he wanted this past offseason. He chased out All-star point guard Kyrie Irving. He got some key pieces in return with Isiah Thomas and Jae Crowder. He got his best friend back and future Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade. And he got former NBA MVP Derrick Rose. What else could King James possibly need? He has the double double machine Kevin Love. He has sharpshooter, Kyle Korver coming off the bench along with veteran Jeff Green. He has his boys back in JR Smith, Iman Shumpert and Tristan Thompson. How could the Cavs possibly lose a game with this lineup?

Statistically, James is having his usual good season so far. He is averaging 24.6 points per game, 7.1 rebounds, and 8.6 assists. Not too shabby for the 15th year in the NBA. Kevin Love is playing great and is dead on with his career averages of 19 points a game and 11 rebounds. So what exactly is going on?
No one else on the Cavs roster is putting the ball in the hoop anywhere near as well as Kyrie Irving used to. Rose, Wade, Green, Crowder are all nice players but they are no Kyrie Irving. Lebron has never been good at being Batman without a Robin. Sure, Kevin Love is a strong player, but he is no Superstar. Kyrie Irving IS. Lebron’s ego has broken up this dynamic duo. And it may have changed the trajectory of the rest of Lebron's career.

When history looks back at the summer of 2017, it will be a story of bad decisions. One that may have cost Lebron his legacy and his attempt to end his career to be looked upon as the best player ever, even better than Michael Jordan. But Lebron sent Kyrie Irving packing. Batman shipped his Robin to Boston, and with it, a chance win another ring.
Lebron James and the Cavs may make the NBA Finals this year. But they have a zero % chance at beating the Golden State Warriors without Kyrie Irving. And with Kyrie, they at least would have had a 50% shot.
Do you agree that Lebron James made the wrong decision? Will he regret this the rest of his life? Let us know what you think. Thank you for following @steemsports and you can catch me @hogan22

They are missing a dynamic scorer - I think IT will fill that gap when he is healthy. This Cavs team would have whopped the league in 2010-11 lol

Bro your post was just amazing

Kyrie was a big game player for the Cavs a definite loss that has shown already. Bostons gain now.
