All eyes are on the Staples Center in Los Angeles as the NBA’s best talent takes a break from the riggors of the regular season to partake in the All-Start weekend festivities. Saturday night the leagues best shooter competed in the JBL Three Point Shootout.
Houston’s Eric Gordon, the defending champion kicked off the first round, but was only able to muster 12 of a potential 34 points, bowing out after one round.

LA Clipper Tobias Harris, Golden State’s Klay Thompson, and Phoenix’s Devin Booker were the three finalists. Harris went first and set the number to beat at 17. Harris was disappointed after making only one of his final nine shots.
Devin Booker and 2016 champion, Klay Thompson found themselves with 13 points after three racks.
The fourth rack was the turning point in the final. Booker rose to the occasion making all six shots in the fourth round while Thompson faltered, hitting three less than Booker, giving Booker a three point advantage.

Both made four of five attempts in the final rack, which are all worth two points each bringing Booker’s final tally to an all-time high of 28 points besting Thompson’s 25 points.
