#1 Kansas Plays #8 Seton Hall in the Second Round

Head coach Bill Self’s Jayhawk team struggled most of the first half in their game against Penn on Thursday before blowing them out. They only use a 7 man rotation and that is going to be trouble today. If there is any foul trouble at all for the Jayhawks, then they could be in for an early exit. Devonte’ Graham must have a huge game and control the floor. The point guard has had a phenomenal season and most of the pressure will rest on his shoulders.
Seton Hall is foaming at the mouth at the opportunity to knock off a #1 seed and make it to the Sweet 16. They should be feeling great after their impressive 94-83 win over the N.C. State Wolf Pack. Desi Rodriguez has led the way all year and is averaging 17.9 points per game. The senior forward could put up some big numbers today. The Pirates rotation of 10 people could wear out the Jayhawks and I expect them to push the pace to try and wear them out.
One thing that is heavily in Kansas favor is today’s location. They are playing in their home state so the crowd will all be in blue and the cheers will be loud. Hopefully the home cooking won’t apply to the refs as well.
