Match Preview / Previa del Partido

Date 7, Italian Soccer League: The Serie A, Napoli and Roma sides face off in the most interesting game for this week. The Italian league has been dominated the last five seasons by the Juventus, the only two teams that have managed to face them are these two. In the actual season, Napoli is ranked at the 2nd position of the table while Roma is ranked at the 6th position, but only one point separates them; with that being said, this game will be a decisive match for each team!

The game will be on Saturday, October 15th, 13:00 GMT Time Zone.

En la séptima fecha de la Serie A Napoli y Roma se enfrentan en el partido más interesante de la jornada. La liga italiana ha sido dominada por 5 años consecutivos por la Juventus de Turin, los únicos equipos que han podido enfrentárseles han sido estos dos. En la actual temporada Napoli ocupa el segundo puesto de la tabla mientras que Roma ocupa el 6, pero se encuentran separados únicamente por 1 un punto así que este partido será decisivo para ambos equipos.

Napoli

After finishing last season facing off against Juventus, Napoli’s team still maintains competitive form as they rank in second place in the table.

After losing their star player, Gonzalo Higuain, to their historic and direct rival Juventus, thank God, this team has been able to recover themselves. Thanks to the good direction of their current DT, Rigo Sarri, and also to the good incorporation of great players like the forward, Milik, who had a great season last year with Ajax scoring 21 goals in 31 games and he looks to continue his good form with 4 goals in 7 matches in the Serie A.

Napoli has a team filled with great players like the international Jose Callejon, Lorenzo Insigne, and Marek Hamsik, each of these players played for their national teams! This makes Napoli’s side a tough team in almost every game they play. Manolo Gabbiadini, one of the youngest and best Italian National player is the favorite to replace Milik in the lineup.

Luego de haber terminado segundos en la clasificacion en la temporada 2015-2016 el equipo aun mantiene su forma competitiva como lo demuestra el estar en el segundo puesto de la clasificacion.

Luego de haber perdido a su jugador estrella Gonzalo Higuain al ser fichado por su rival directo e historico, la Juventus, el equipo ha sabido recuperarse de ese duro golpe animico gracias a la buena direccion de su tecnico Rigo Sarri y la incorporacion de buenos jugadores como el delantero Milik, quien viene de hacer una excelente temporada con el Ajax con 21 goles en 31 apariciones y continua su buena labor con 4 goles en 7 jonadas de la Serie A.

Pero lastimosamente para Napoli, Milik sufrio de una lesion en los partidos de eliminaorias para el mundial jugando para la selección de Polonia, igualmente Napoli posee un equipo plagado de estrellas como el internacional Jose Callejon, Lorenzo Insigne y Marek Hamsik, todos referentes de sus selecciones nacionales, lo cual hace a este equipo un grupo muy competitivo. Manolo Gabbiadini, una de los mejores jugadores jovenes en la selección de italia, es el favorito del tecnico para reemplazar a Milik en la punta del ataque.

Roma

After having a very rough start this season as a visitor side with 1 draw and 2 defeats, Roma will travel to Napoli with the illusion of climbing to the first position in the Serie A table. If they manage to win; simply, they could make it to the second place of the competition.

The presence of international players like Florenci, Manolas, Nainggolan, Ross,i Strootman, and Dzeko will be of vital importance in order to impulse the team to obtain a winning result against Napoli. Also, we cannot forget to mention ”The Great Captain”, Francesco Totti, who has recently turned 40 years old but still is Roma’s Captain and although he isn’t a starter, he has shown to be a key substitute player by having two goals and two assists thus far.

However, recent statistics do not favor them against the Napoli's side because they have not been able to beat them in the last 6 games in the San Paolo Stadium. In their favor, Roma have won their last 2 games by defeating the Inter de Milan side in the last game of Serie A and before that, they managed to win against the Astra Giurgiu team in the Europa League. This shows that Roma is going into this game in good form, and the historical statistics show that Roma has more wins against Napoli.

To conclude we can say that it will be a very hard game lead by Spalletti and we will find the match being played at San Paolo of Napoli. But, if they want to make it into the first places of the Serie A table, it will be crucial to obtain a win in this match.

Luego de haber tenido un inicio de temporada dificil en los juegos de visitante con solo 1 empate y dos derrotas, la roma viaja a napoli con la ilusion de subir a los primeros puestos de la tabla. Si logran ganar y los numeros le favorecen podrian llegar al segundo puesto de la classificacion.

La presencia de jugadores de talla internacional como Florenci, ManolasNainggolan, Rossi Strootman y Dzeko seran de vital importancia para lograr impulsar el equipo a obtener un resultado favorable en contra de napoli. Y no podemos dejar de mencionar al Gran Capitano, Francesco Totti, quien con 40 anos sigue siendo el capitan de los Romanos y a pesar de no ser titular lleva dos goles y dos asistencias en lo que va de temporada.

Sin embargo las estadisticas no los favorecen en contra de napoli ya que no han podido ganarles en los ultimos juegos en el san paolo, sin embargo los Romanos lograron encajar una importante victoria en contra del inter de milan en la ultim fecha de la serie A y previo a ese partido lograron ganar en la Europa League contra el Astra Giurgiu, lo cual nos indica que llegan en buena forma para este partido, sin embargo las estadisticas historicas al final dan una ventaja de la Roma sobre Napoli.

Para concluir podemos decir que sera realmente un partido muy dificil el que se encontaran los dirigidos por Spalleti en el San Paoli de Napoli, pero si desean llegar a los primeros puestos de la tabla sera crucial que obtengan un buen resultado.

How to Play
