We broadcast 24/7 live talk-radio with steemians from all over the world talking and have great conversations about steemit, social media, cryptocurrencies and of course the world economy among other things. It is a free-speech zone for everyone, small fish, witnesses, whales, steemit inc, users, investors, developers to sit down and just talk over a beer or a cup of coffee whenever they want from wherever they are, on steemspeak you will always find active users and we would be honored to welcome you to our virtual radio-studio as well!
It all started in 2014 with Stakepool Teamspeak
SteemSpeak is powered by Stakepool Radio & Teamspeak which has been a no-bullshit open community for crypto-traders and investors since 2014, and runs on a 24/7 DDOS protected datacenter which we upgraded to this year and it has served us well with minimal downtime in the past couple of months, and the awesome response from listeners is that they definitely like what we are doing.

In our regular setup we have @fyrstikken who is the owner and pay all the bills, @creationlayer from Bitcoin.com who give great trading-advice and spend a good amount of time with new users explaining crypto and trading-details with them. We also have @contentjunkie who is a wonderful person and very helpful with coding and as well as @inertia great at explaining advanced stuff so that a five year old can understand it. Also we have @applecrisp who is such a blessing and also a great up and coming techie whose skills just keeps increasing. Also let us mention @mughat who has such a wonderful voice and @poeticsnake, @patelincho and @andrei who all brighten our days by every day contribute to a great atmosphere along with @psycochica and @sncheakysquirrel and 500+ more users who come and go as they please when they please :)

On SteemSpeak you can bet that @ned shows up from time to time, we have had @charlieshrem doing AMA´s with us, @roelandp the steemfest organizer is online with us a lot of times as well as @pharesim and @complexring and @bitcoinparadise, @picokernel and lots and lots of steemit-celebrities spend more and more time on steemspeak then before, and is becoming the go-to-place for all things steemit. If you have a question, you can bet someone on steemspeak has the answer and if it is a bad answer, someone else will voice up and give you a better one. And if you feel like you missed out, don´t worry - We now have 1 Terrabyte of storage-capacity for our MP3 archive that you can find anytime at archive.steemspeak.com and use them for your own pod-casts or in funny videos like @ubg does :)

You all have been welcoming from the start. I am very honored to be mentioned and I owe a lot to steemspeak. The best place to learn and engage in conversation with others in the steemit community and other communities as well. If you're a beginner and want to learn, steemspeak is where it's at.
When will a SteemSpeak client be available for Chromebooks?
If anyone out there hasn't gotten to at least listen, if not chat in steemspeak, you really should.
Some of the most interesting conversations you'll hear on a wide array of topics. Good people, Great music always playing. It's just a win/win all the way around. Oh, and it's FREE for you to use.

One thing this article needs is a link to get the teamspeak app. I clicked on the link above and heard people talking, but saw zero info on how to participate (it's there, not bold and brash in your face. Why not put it in this article?)
If it's just a matter if me googling "teamspeak" to find that info I'll join you shortly, but if so why not make it easy and save readers that legwork?
Ok, it was just that easy to get connected. From the time it took to dl & install the client everybody must have gone to bed or to go eat supper.
I'm obviously new to TS, it seems similar to mumble, but I couldn't figure out how to talk as the PTT "button" is not as obvious as mumble (on Windows - on Mac there is no button, the entire app window serves as the button). TS gave me no feedback or clues what to push to talk, or if there were any was to subtle for me to sense.
So let this be some feedback for you to provide a bit more info to get newbies on board. There were many users apparently connected, but I was unable to speak with any of them.
