RE: A little debate about my coin design for Steemsilverrround, what should the message be.
I'm with you, effort does deserve to be rewarded. Some posts are, for a better word crap, but you can just tell the time and "effort" someone has put in to their posts. Some people are just poor an expressing their thoughts and getting it down in a blog eludes them.
Some people have the gift to talk about any old bullshit and make it interesting.
Does quality with no effort deserve more respect than effort without quality??
Quality according to who?
Quality is subjective.
I agree with you. Which is why the original message of "the effort deserves to be rewarded" was right as far as I'm concerned
Yeah, I agree it deserves reward but its not really the situation on steemit unfornatly.
IMO the point of the chain is building blocks, proof of work and stuff. I think quality of content deserves reward but i think it should be quality according to the whole market not a couple people. The way the power structure is though that will never be.
i agree that time and effort deserve to be rewarded, now if the reward has to be money then i might not agree. sometimes the feeling of doing a good job is reward or a thank you from a friend, or just the feeling of completing something finally might be the reward. So if i put forth the effort of 3 weeks to covering a wall in poop 12 hrs a day i might not get rewarded with money but in the end im rewarded with creating the wall of poop i set out to make.
lol
maybe some rich whale will think its "quality" and drop a couple hundred in my wallet for it but even if not there is a reward.
:D
Also at some point we might need to look around if we are puting in to much effort and not getting the reward we were looking for, at that point it might be better to find a new area to put ones effort and time into if the last attempt didnt pay off as much as planned.
:D
Sorry bout the rambling, i tend to ramble on stuff like this.
