I know the article is about stacking but if you truly believe that gold will increase then people should consider diversifying with mining companies too, which will leverage gains. Should the entire market collapse and stocks and shares be unredeemable, then their physical holding would have protected them. My view - physical is insurance, mining firms are an investment.
