And now a quick lil story about finding gold!
Many years ago my father gave me a gold ring — in my 20’s i think. Anyway, it was all solid 10k and just felt good, smooth and heavy and plain and badass.
For years i never wore it and then about 10yrs ago i started to wear it. Not everyday, but sometimes for days at a time. It has already had a few adventures (come to think of it) but recently it went missing. I had looked extensively through everywhere it might’ve been and had no luck. For the past 2-3 weeks the ring my Dad had given me (RIP) was gone.
Then today i had both boys over at my place (me n my gal have an awesome arrangement and life is good) and we were digging through my things, and Charlie directed my attention to a place i guess i haven’t paid much attention to... i mean it’s fucking four feet away, but i guess i haven’t had out my guitar songbooks in a while. Blah blah blah, anyway, there was my ring!!!
I really can’t express how happy i am to have this back. It was a mighty boon this day friends!
