Happy new years!

Cheers to all my friends on steemit, this has been one hell of a year! Goodbye 2017!

My journey started here on steemit doing due diligence on crypto currencies. I never thought I would do social media of any sort after I dumped Facebook like five years ago. I have met so many interesting people here in just the last eight months.

I think the different communities here are the best way to stay involved. My first posts here were mostly about gardening, there are so many great gardeners and homesteaders to interact with.

It didn't take too long for me to find the steemit poker community that was started by @tuck-fheman and @bigpchef, if you like poker and like winning steem even more go check out @SPl or Lucksacks.com. I'm actually playing the New Year's Eve torment at the same time I'm doing this post, I hope I win! EDIT- I lost! 50 sbd to the winners!

Also a big shout out to @bethalea and @nicnas for comunity casino!

Next, I found the #steemsilvergold# community where people like myself talk about our gold and silver collectibles and investments.There is always something going on with this group, like crazy ass contests, secret Santas, contests and giveaways just for the hell of it. I just received this from at @pit-bullion for a random contest! (Hand poured)

This happens all the time with this group, thanks @pit-bullion!

This seems to be where I spend most of my time when I'm sitting at the computer, this group is so cool, we even have our own sexy ass botty that will upvote you if you are a member.

There are so many cool people in this community I can't possibly name them all but you all know who you are!
