Updated steemsilvergold MEMBERSHIP list and groups Discord channel update #142
So the update's are we have a group witness @guiltyparties. He has opened up a channel for witness updates, please check out his posts and support him. Vote for him also, click though this link and search for guiltyparties to support our group witness. https://steemit.com/~witnesses.
When he starts receiving blocks he plans to delegate SP to the group bot and has planned to do some rewards for members also. Just as a last side note, he also produces a fantastic daily update post for the group containing that days most popular content. He is a busy boy.

I have selected our very first mod for the Discord group account, @phelimint is a very active member within the group, he has produced a group bot for us which is already upvoting our posts, he has worked closely with @sevinwilson to help produce the Steemit silver coin, he makes good posts with great content and has taken taken the role as discord mod to help me with that. The time difference between him and i almost ensure that one of us is always online. Feel free to drop any of us a PM on there.
Last but not least, i am going to add a members list here. I have seen alot of comments with people asking if they were in the group. The group membership list is now saved to the group's bot following list. If@silvergoldbotty is following, your in. I see that the bot is following 80 members at the minute but only 57 are following it. Please folks, if you are in the member list below, please take a few moments and follow the bot that is upvoting all your posts.

So whats this witness and discord all about? seen it mentioned in a few posts but i dont get it
A witness is someone who helps build the steem blockchain. I no very little about it, all i know is its really good to have a witness aboard. Once has gets voted into the top 100, he will beable to release blocks meaning he will start earning and put some of those earning's into the group through the bot and rewards. He can help with alot of other stuff also, almost like a rep for us. Please follow through the link in the post and vote for him as witness, its all about votes and we need to support him as he is giving up his time to support us. It takes less than 1 min :)
Discord is a like a chat area, we have set up so that members can PM each other regrading transactions are sharing ideas. There are also alot of channels for group updates posts, witness updates, group group updates, silver&gold porn pictures, silver news ect. You should check it out buddy.
The Discord channel is for chatting with other SteemSilverGold members. It's easy to join, just click on https://discord.gg/azp5KZH and that's pretty much it. It's better for sending quick messages than commenting.
The witness is basically a computer server that's dedicated to processing blocks (information) on the Steem blockchain. Every good witness does something for the community. Witnesses are ranked based on vests, which is easiest to understand as based on votes that are proportional to account size. Witnesses that reach the top 20 make some good coin and can use that to finance projects, curate posts, help new users, etc.
Since we as a witness are representing the SteemSilverGold community, so far we created an auto-curation highlighter that posts every day. We've done a few other things in the past. What we'd like to do in the future is upvote member posts for something a little more substantial, and delegate Steem Power to the @silvergoldbotty and other group projects.
To vote for us as witness (or for any other witness), go to https://steemit.com/~witnesses and type in "guiltyparties" in the bottom text field, then click "vote".
