Perth Mint 2oz figure 8 Antique finish coin. Something different for ya'll - 282
I seen this coin around 5-6 weeks ago on the silver forum, a few members were talking about it and had never seen such a thing. I googled it and found out a little bit. I thought, i could make a good Steemit post which this and new newly acquired knowledge about this wonderful coin. So i did my post and that prompted Mr Raybrockman to get in on the race and on the phone to the Perth Mint and buy 2 of these. He get a really good mintage number, 2222 i think he got. I had to have one after seeing his fantastic unboxing post.
I added it to my shopping cart in at my bullion dealers site and emailed CS about mintage numbers. They replied quickly with a choice of between 1790-1809. I selected 1808 as it had the most 8's and its a nice number. I like the number 8 myself, it easy to multiply and divide, its how many glasses of water a day we should drink, hours we should sleep, hours we 'normally' work and its also my favourite starting hand in hold em poker with 8-8. To cut a long story short, the coin arrived safely and the mintage number i got was 1800. Not whati asked for but ya cant win them all. This number is ok for me, its round. The foam is guled in the top of the lid and under the coin on the base, its just the simple things the Perth mint does that others dont and why they always release a quality product

After being in my hand for around 5 seconds, i had the feeling to spin it like a fidget spinner. Thats what it felt like in my hand. I quickly get the picture of the queens side and put it away about i dropped it are something.
What a beaut of a coin. Just pure class
There is a magnet in each corner of the clear casing which i think is pretty neat. The magnets do the job well, check it

Should be here by end of week. I just bought 40 athenia owls. I'm going to start pouring some stuff in the new year so it's all about adding weight while it's extremely cheap and stuff I don't mind melting. Nothing to write home about this purchase.
