Complete SILVER Britannia Date Run Picture Post... 1998-2017 #260
Some of you may remember i tried to do a Silver Britannia series a while back showing the whole date run. Due to the fact thats its hard to find something to talk about each britannia as more than half are of the same design, i have decided to do the whole lot in 1 post and have added a few extras in my stack from 1985. I have grouped them together in 4's for your viewing pleasure. The is the only complete date run i have, well i have others but new series of 3-4 years. This is the only one 5+ years and i have been planning for the past year to buy a wooden box to store them in but never got around to it. I am very proud of it and it belongs in my personal keeper stack :)

I got half of them from a stamp site in Danmark for 19 euro each. haha.
I am part of a silver forum and our members emptied the stock out in a few hours. They had hundreds of silver britannias dated from 2000 upto 2009. I get around 30 in total, lots of 2001's and 2005's, they are most expensive. I have never valued the completed date run but i know i cant lose as i have got most them for 19 euro each.

I started my "date run" last year. So far I've got 2008-2017. I'm finding getting the older one impossible at a price I'm happy to pay. The older ones are definitely great designs

I joined back in October for Canadian silver saver 1000 sub giveaway and funny enough I logged in today but that's the only 2 times I've been on there
The trading section is always something to watch if you have a spare few quid. I have had some real bargains from there. Everyone lists bullion at proper prices, not ebay inflated prices. Someone selling a 2005 on thesilverforum would ask for £30, not the £50 being asked on ebay. All about right place right time i guess.

its really good place for silver/gold stackers with a huge storage of great information. Small with under 2000 members but great community.
Any way us stackers can avoid getting gouged by eBay is a good thing! I’m completely convinced eBay is going to be overwhelmed by competition from cryptocurrencies within 5 years due to how high their fees are!

The older ones are no questions better in every way. The designs and using britannia silver was better, no milk spots.
