PSA: Fake ENGELHARD Bars Discovered!!

I want to make it a point to say that this is probably the most important article I have posted on Steemit. This is a very serious matter that is currently under investigation.

Yesterday, there was confirmation that a group of Engelhard bars discovered in Ontario, Canada are FAKE. They are currently in possession of an individual named Kyle Anastasia. Allengelhard asked Kyle to reveal the source of these bar's. As well as remove his EBay active listing. His eBay listing was a buy it now listing asking $26,000. In return Kyle refused to reveal his source. Claiming the man was "80 years old and had a heart condition." Kyle was asked to not post any photos and to send the physical bar's in to be examined. Unfortunately, the very next day he posted more photos on Facebook market place.

Below are all the silver Engelhard bar's in Kyle's possession that are confirmed fake. They include the following weight classes 7oz, 16.075oz, 20oz, and 25oz. Notice the size and font style of the weight stamps and serial numbers. They are all the same. The hallmarks are all consistent through out each weight class. The landscape and pour style are modern production. There has been zero documented Engelhard bar's of this variety. These are all one of a kind!

Aside from all of these Engelhard bar's being in Kyle's possesion and confirmed to be fake. We also discovered he had been soliciting a 10oz and a 20oz silver Johnson Matthey bars. Both bar's are in his possession and have been altered. Each had a unique serial number added to the obverse side. Kyle's story was that these were "employee bars." That is why they had the unique serial number. Of course attempting to sell them at the highest premium. The altered JM bars are featured below...

It is extremely important to share this information with community. Not only does it offer education on how to evaluate fake Engelhard bar's. It also exposes a criminal in the act. Kyle Anastasia is committing a criminal act and will be made an example of. This can not be tolerated and we need to stand strong as a community.
