Documented Silver Bar Info. - 'Featuring Fakes'

I have been digging through an amazing book over the past year. John J. Ford Jr. and the Franklin Hoard. It is a big book with a TON of documented history. It's amazing to see documentation from the 1950s-1970s. The way of life was much different. Documentation mainly consists of hand written letters, personal journals, and advertisements.

I want to share a photo out of the book. It touches on a couple of the ingots I have highlighted here on Steemit.

☝️This was an article published in a numismatic magazine. Where they were suggesting a few silver ingots did not have any history to support the origin of thier hallmarks. John J. Ford Jr. personally responded to the publisher. Sharing the information he has gathered. It turns out some of the ingots were actually in his personal collection. The date of the article was around May of 1972.

There it is. Quick and simple for your viewing pleasure! If you enjoyed this article please RESTEEM UPVOTE and FOLLOW!
