The coins are struck by the Bavarian State Mint to meet demand and are available for individual purchase or bulk. The individual coins are available in protective packaging with the multiples housed either in mint tubes of 20 or Monster Boxes of 500 coins consisting of 25 tubes in total.
The Somalia Silver Elephant coins are a popular choice among investors and collectors alike for much the same reason as the Chinese Silver Panda is popular. The reverse side of these African Elephant coins depicts the planets largest land mammal in a new design relief each year, attracting investors with .9999 pure silver and collectors with the always-changing design field.
On the reverse of 2019 1 oz Somalia Silver Elephant Coins is a scene from the African savanna. The adult elephant with its powerful tusks and long trunk dominates the foreground of the design as it reaches to the foliage in the trees with its trunk. There is long prairie grass in the foreground and a river is visible snaking off into the distant background. The sun is featured in the sky above as a bird flies overhead of the elephant.
The obverse of 2019 Somalia Silver Elephant Coins always features the same design. The coat of arms for the Somali Republic is featured on this side. The shield has horizontal lines backing a single star in the center and is crowned at the top. There are leopards on either side of the shield supporting it as they stand on two crossed spears wrapped in a ribbon.

I like the Somali Elephants and collect one coin per year. I love it that the designs change every year. Although I do not stack elephants, when they are offered on sale, I get a bunch of them. I think that I will show a video of that particular pick-up! I enjoyed this post, my friend!
