# 70 - Another Raid with @thedamus - Final

Continuing yesterday's article we will show you the last three coins of the 2014 "O Canada" silver series.

Their nominal value is $10, with a 99.99% silver purity and weighting 15.87g each. They have a Matte Proof finish.

The first coin is the "Bison".

The reverse presents a portrait of three adult bison and a bison calf in their natural habitat. The largest adult, furthest from the viewer, has its head slightly raised as though listening and watching for danger. The bison’s’ shaggy fur and the color variations between adults and calf are beautifully rendered through masterful engraving and the use of varied finishes.

The second coin is "The Northern Lights", a natural phenomenon as awe-inspiring as the Canadian wilderness itself.

The reverse features an iconic northern image of a wolf howling against a night sky bathed in Aurora Borealis—the Northern Lights. The full-color background anchors the image. The Lights’ beauty in this image is doubled by its reflection in a yet-unfrozen lake. In the distance behind the wolf, on the far left side of the image, a coniferous forest rises skyward on a steep hill. On the far horizon, more hills hint at the vast wilderness beneath the stunningly lit sky. Wolf, shore, hillside, and boulders are beautifully reflected in the water below. In the foreground, the tip of a rocky shoreline anchors the scene.

The last coin is a "Canadian Holiday Scene".

The evocative reverse presents a winter scene that captures the essence of cozy holiday scenery in Canada. In this festive image that highlights Canada’s rural experience, we see the rolling hills and snow-covered boreal landscape familiar to people across Canada. A country house with sharply peaked roof and screened-in porch and a snowy path are depicted. Along the pathway, we meet a waving, top-hatted snowman wearing a warm scarf and holding a wrapped gift box under one tree-branch “arm”. Opposite the house is a large conifer covered in snow and decorated with glass holiday balls.
