# 203 - Victory Day
On May 8th, 2005 the RCM issued a $.05 commemorative coin to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in Europe.
An aluminium case and a booklet telling us an Historical Account of Victory in Europe accompany the coin.
The $.05 coin weights 5.3g with 92.5% of silver purity and Proof finish. There is also a bronze medallion with the coin.
The quantity sold was 42,792 cases, with an issue price of $29.95CAD.

Got 7000 SP more so dropping you again to 19%. This entire month is going to be a roller coaster as old delegations move out and newer comes in so just be patient it will stabilize by next month.
Yesterday you had 52981 SP. Today you have 58710. That is 10.8% more. So, you should divide the 22% for 1.108. That gives 19.86%, not 19%.
I will Upvote at 20% today and I will lose another 5000 SP tomorrow. Than I will increase it back to 22%.

Both my grandfathers were in WWII (but whose grandfather wasn't?)... that ushered the entire family in the military... Dad, Mom was an Army nurse, 2 brothers... except me, LOL! I like the design of the medal reverse.
