# 120 - 1992 Canadian Quarters - Part 2
In 1992, to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of Canada, the Royal Canadian Mint issued twelve different designs representing a familiar scene from each of the twelve provinces and territories of Canada.
Each coin weights 5.9g with silver purity of 92.5% and Proof finish.
It was emitted also, with the same design, a series of twelve nickel coins.
We will show today the next three quarters.
The first one is "Manitoba" depicting the Southwest Bastion of Lower Fort Garry and part of its surrounding wall.
The second is "Yukon" depicting the Kaskawulsh Glacier, one of the valley glaciers that descends from the most extensive non-polar icefield in the world.
The third is "Alberta" depicting the Hoodoos in the Badlands. These columns of sandstone are often crowned by cap rocks, which protect the lower units.
