7/16 Trading Futures Update - S&P500. Precious Metals, Crypto - All Slightly Up
As the new work week opens in most of the world, the futures market has been open for about 4 hours now. A slight positive buying bias can be seen in all markets as nothing negative has come form the news cycle over the week-end.
The Precious metals open up slightly after closing near the low and above the previous closing low from July 2nd, forming a double bottom. We will see if this a reversal from the bottoms and the markets can feel comfortable buying back in.
As the crypto market never closes, BTC experienced a sell off going into Saturday but caught a bit and rebounded on Sunday. Today it seems like some buyers have come in from the far east this morning.
In the news, Trump starts his first meeting with Russia, located in Helsinki, we will see if a tweet or news from the summit can change any of this early direction in the trading day.
